Klaška Barbora

Barbora Klaška is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, the sculpture studio of Jaroslav Rona. She is the founder and co-organizer of the Badespasstotal Symposium in Canada. Her work combines structural and geometrically symmetrical shapes with organic shapes, creating a sharp contrast of mutually contradictory elements. In her work, she often uses neon, for its efficiency, pure expression and power, which works in a simple form.

The processed theme always requires the necessary material and processing technique in her hands. However, her attention also turns on the material itself; it becomes the leading topic for it, it offers its potential and clearly defines the possibilities of its use. Typical geometry and focus on working with light and contrasts, while actively discovering new ways and techniques of processing.
