Lebedová Soňa

Czech painter and graphic designer living in Prague and Příbram, a member of SSV UVU.

She was born on May 28, 1959 in Příbram. She graduated from the Secondary Pedagogical School in Beroun and later she worked as a teacher of art education and mathematics. She started exhibiting since 1993. Soňa Lebedová depicts her work as a collage of perceptions, feelings and memories with frequently abstracting motifs, nevertheless the dominant theme in her works remains the woman. Her paintings are characterized by a high coloration, the brilliance and the dynamics connected with the dreaminess. She works mostly with oil painting and color lithography.
