Jonášová Josefína
Josefina Jonášová is a graduate of Jaroslav Rona's sculptural studio at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts. She is primarily devoted to sculptures, but also likes to paint or sketch, both in her atelier stables and in the public space. In her free time she also likes to play a violin at Vobezdud. For its creation, it is a typical blending of approaches, meanings, mirroring gravity in non-seriousness, blending of categories of existence. The slim, lightweight yet heavyweight visuality is a screen for serious social and existential themes or quite the opposite; serious issues melt beneath the layers of clay or color, and with lightness you go unnoticed into the subconscious to eventually come to an unexpected moment and not let you watch. It depends on what game Josephine is playing with you. Either way, you will not be bored!
